One acre of property is not one acre of grass
Measure the mowing area before choosing the capacity. Subtract buildings, driveways, planting beds and other areas that will never be cut. Include every grass zone the same mower must maintain. Use our measurement checklist if you have not done this yet.
For a full acre of grass, the two purchase options below have manufacturer ratings that meet the area on paper. This is a documentary comparison, not a hands-on ranking. Neither is an automatic recommendation for every one-acre property.
The cutting ranges in the quick comparison describe the named US variants. They do not establish the right height for every grass type. Use your existing lawn-care requirements to decide whether either range is suitable.
When to investigate the WR340
Investigate it when your measured grass area fits its one-acre rating and the Cloud RTK service is available at the property. The manufacturer advertises no on-site antenna, which can simplify one installation requirement. It does not remove the need to check network coverage or the suitability of the dock location.
View WR340 buying details. Confirm that the selected model is WR340, not a half-acre variant in the same listing. Seller details need checking at purchase.
When to investigate the 5000HX
Investigate this option when the high-cut version matches your needs and you can meet its RTK installation requirements. This is an older generation than LUBA 3. Our retailer check found a new Amazon offer from Mammotion Technology, although the manufacturer’s direct page showed it out of stock. Availability at one shop does not establish availability at another.
View LUBA 2 AWD 5000HX buying details. Confirm the 5000HX label, new/used condition and included installation hardware. Do not substitute a 3000 model just because it is cheaper or in stock.
Why two other models are not in this comparison
LUBA 3 AWD 3000 is rated below one acre. Navimow i215 LiDAR is smaller again. They can be useful choices for smaller lawns, but they cannot honestly fill out a one-acre shortlist.
Navimow X430 and LUBA 3 AWD 5000 remain reserve candidates: the direct pages showed them sold out and we did not confirm exact Amazon buying options. We will revisit them rather than present unavailable products as ready-to-buy picks.
Make the final decision from the property
Write down grass area, desired cutting height, steep or wet sections, dock position, passages and disconnected zones. Check the exact manual for each candidate. Published maximum slope figures from different brands are not equivalent real-world trials and should not decide the purchase by themselves.
